How to Install a Micro Irrigation System for Pot Plants with Holman

Micro Irrigation systems are ideal for minimising water wastage and ensuring your potted plants are getting the exact amount of water they need.

Drip irrigation is simple and cost effective to install and guaranteed to save you plenty of time and energy hand watering your plants! A drip irrigation system is also a great option for keeping your pot plants watered while you go on holiday or are away from the house for an extended period of time.

We set up our own Automated Drip Irrigation System in about 30 minutes following the steps in the video.

You can turn the watering on manually, or set it up with an Automatic Tap Timer to create a self-watering system for your potted plants. We used the Holman BTX1 Smart Valve which allowed us to pre-program our ideal watering schedule using a smartphone.

  1. I don't have a water outlet just a 30 gallon plastic drum full of clean water . Wanted too figure out some siphon method my bad.

  2. The audio was mostly not there; I really need the tutorial; something was wrong as bits of it came in at the beginning and the end. Paused r not, there was a rushing sound, such as fast-running water might make.

  3. This video has weirder comments that your typical irrigation video… I do 'love' how half the water is flowing out over the side of the pot at the end… XD

  4. as soon as you see the watch you know we are talking about a different planet….so we also know that getting that sprinkler system is next to impossible…
